For eight years of my life, I served in the military living life to its fullest while experiencing the pains of shared and individual tragedy.  I experienced six years of hard fought combat operations.  While I served in the current combat zones, I also served in various unremembered peacekeeping missions and actions.

Enough of my blood, flesh, and bone reside in the world’s hot spots for me to consider them living relatives.  My career in the military focused me in insurgency, counter insurgency, anti-terrorism and counter terrorism, intelligence operations, counter narcotics, and Middle Eastern Politics. The simple testament to a miss spent youth is over thirty quotations by various heads of state. 

Following a forced retirement, due to multiple debilitating injuries, I continue to collect college degrees like baseball cards. I entered service in the beer and wine industries earning cicerone and sommelier status. The only thing I ever fail in is life. I claim no affiliations and serve this world as a pragmatist.
